Where are you located?
Even though our name is Ben White Florist, we are no longer located on Ben White Blvd. The shop moved over to S. Congress many moons ago. Our current address is: 3200 S. Congress, located just north of Ben White Blvd and across the street from St. Edward's University. The Crow Bar and Amy's Ice Creams are next door in case you need a treat after buying your flowers.
How late are you open?
Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8-6 and Saturday 8-1.
Do you deliver?
Absolutely! We have two delivery runs throughout the day: morning delivery from 9-1 and afternoon delivery from 1-5. As long as you call or order online before 9am, we can get your order out before 1:00 p.m. same day. If you call before 1:00 p.m., we can get your order out by 5:00 p.m. same day. Do you only sell flowers?
Nope! While we do sell mostly flowers, we also have various houseplants, stuffed animals, balloons, and Lammes chocolates available. Anything on our website can be ordered for a delivery or pickup.
What type of plants do you carry?
We only sell indoor houseplants. What we commonly have in stock: spathiphyllum, ivy, croton, rubber tree, bromeliad, anthurium, chrysanthemum, cactus garden, dish garden. Please call us at 512.447.3577 for variety and availability. If you see it for sale on our website, then we have it in stock in our shop.
Do you carry gift baskets?
Nope. A floral arrangement is the perfect give in and of itself! However, if the person you're sending it to likes yummy things to munch on, add Lammes chocolates to your order.
How do I take care of my flowers?
If the flowers arrive in a vase, then you generally want to keep them in a cooler area, away from any heating or air conditioning vents. Every couple of days, it is always a good idea to replace the water and give your flower stems a fresh cut. You will also need to fill the vase everyday with water, as certain flowers tend to drink quite a bit. Just like humans.

We have an in-house wedding designer, Debra McAdoo, and she is awesome. Please contact her for your wonderful wedding needs.
